Bhopal: It is an article of faith for a Muslim to remove any harmful object from the path so as to protect people from being hurt or harmed, said Member of Parliament Maulana Mohammad Asrarul Haque Qasmi. He was addressing students of Madrasa Tanweerul Quran in Shaheen Colony of Bhopal after laying the foundation stone of a new building – Darul Quran - dedicated to the teaching of Quran here on Thursday, 8 October, 2015.
Maulana Qasmi said that non-Muslims look at Muslims’ actions first than what the Quran or Islam say about them. It is therefore important that the behaviour and outer life of a Muslim are shaped in accordance with the teachings of Islam which have exemplary guidance for every sphere of life. He cited an example as to how the staff at an airport thanked Muslims who offered salah there, where after ablution they dried the place of the spilled water using tissue papers so that people did not slip on the glistening marble floor. He narrated this to bring home the point that practical expression of Islamic teachings is an essential part of a Muslim’s life.
President of All India Talimi Wa Milli Foundation, Maulana Qasmi quoted a former home minister of Maharashtra who, while in Latur once showed his eagerness to employ more number of computer staff trained by a madrasas to which he had provided computers because, apart from being diligent, they were also very honest in discharging their duties.
In his brief address to the teachers, students, ulama and other people present, Maulana Qasmi shed light on the significance for madrasas for their stellar role in producing honest individuals for society and prayed for peace and development of the country. Mufti Mohammad Jawed Anwar Mazahiri, nazim of the madrasa run under Banat Education & Welfare Society, Mufti Nizamuddin Qasmi, Zahoorul Hasan Shamsi, Qari Muhammad Ashraf Ashrafi, teachers and members of the madrasa and the Society were present on this occasion.
