 Deoband.Net Maulana Arshad Madani, senior Professor of Hadith in Darul Uloom Deoband and prominent Muslim Leader, was appointed as Member of the World Muslim League (Rabita al-Alam al-Islami). New Delhi/Deoband A high-level delegation of Darul Uloom Deoband on Friday met Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh seeking his attention to the terror arrest of innocent Muslim youths. The delegation headed by Maulana Abul Qasim Nomani, vice chancellor of the seminary, demanded setting up of fast-track courts for speedy disposal of terror cases. Deoband has always condemned terrorism but also condemned arrest of innocents in the name of terrorism. Many such innocent people have been acquitted by court, “showing the reality that the related investigating agencies did not fulfill their responsibilities well, and in the events of terrorism, a special community has been targeted on pre-planned modes. Innocent people arrested like this way are still in many lock-ups and a number of them, despite having been acquitted from the courts, are yet to be released,” the delegation pointed out in the memorandum submitted to the PM. They sought PM’s special attention to the terror arrests and demanded the government to: Start of trials of those people who are in the prisons in accusation of terrorism in Fast Track courts and justice be given to them. Stop the arrest of innocent people as well as curb the mindset of accusing a special community after every terror incident Other demands made by the delegation were: Reject the proposal to set up central madrasa board Review the provision of Direct Tax Code and exemption of the Mosques, Madrasas, Maktabs and religious institutions from taxation as before.   Deoband.Net 24/04/2012 Maulana Dr Abdul Hamid sb Ex-Lecturer of Jamia Tibbiya Darul Uloom Deoband and present Nazim Kutubkhana (Library incharge) passed away in Deoband on 23/04/2012 Monday afternoon. His death came as shock for all as he was struck with heart attack and succumbed to it after awhile. [inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiuoon] Maulana Dr Abdul Hamid beloged to Sidharath Nagar (Basti) UP. He grasuated from Darul Uloom and also completed Advanced Diploma in Unani Medicine from Jamia Tibbiya Darul Uloom. Just asfter holding the diploma he was recruited in Jamia as lecturer. Later in 1986, when Jamia Tibbiya was dissolved, he was offered the incharge-ship of grant Library of Darul Uloom. He was very mannered, kind and softhearted person. Through his medical profession he served the people with great courage, toleration and devotion. The janaza salah (funeral) was offered on 9:30 after Isha and he was laid to rest in Qasmi graveyard. Darul Uloom orgaznied an Isal-e-Thawab function for him on 24/04/2012. الأحد 15/04/2012 استقبل وزير الشؤون الإسلامية والأوقاف والدعوة والإرشاد الشيخ صالح بن عبدالعزيز آل الشيخ بمكتبه في الوزارة بمحافظة جدة صباح أمس وفدًا من الجامعة الإسلامية «دار العلوم ديوبند في الهند» برئاسة المفتي أبو القاسم النعماني رئيس الجامعة، وجرى خلال المقابلة تبادل الأحاديث الودية، وسلم الوفد رسالة دعوة إلى معاليه لزيارة الهند والالتقاء بالمسؤولين والمشايخ والمدرسين في دار العلوم، كما جرى بحث توسيع دائرة التعاون بين الوزارة والجامعة، ومناقشة عدد من الموضوعات ذات العلاقة المشتركة، وأكد الوزير بأن الوزارة حريصة على مد الجسور بينها وبين المؤسسات العلمية المعنية والمتخصصة بما يحقق المزيد من النجاحات، ويساهم في نشر علوم القرآن الكريم، والسُنة النبوية، وتحقيق التعاون في مواجهة البدع التي تدعو إليها الفرق الضالة كالقاديانية وغيرها، كما أكد الوفد تقديرهم، وتقدير الجامعة لجهود خادم الحرمين الشريفين، وحكومته الرشيدة، واهتمامهم بالقضايا الإسلامية، كما قدر فضيلة رئيس الجامعة جهود وزارة الشؤون الإسلامية في مختلف المجالات، وتعاونها مع الجامعة بقيادة معالي الوزير، وأكد الوزير الشيخ صالح آل الشيخ حرص الوزارة على مد الجسور مع جميع المؤثرين من العلماء والجامعات والمؤسسات الإسلامية في سبيل قوة المسلمين، ونشر العلم النافع، وتأصيل حب القرآن الكريم والسُنة النبوية، وحمل لواء الرد على أهل الأهواء. http://www.al-madina.com/node/371003 
التركي يبحث أوضاع الهيئة الإسلامية مكة المكرمة - البلاد استقبل معالي الأمين العام لرابطة العالم الإسلامي الدكتور عبد الله بن عبد المحسن التركي اليوم رئيس الهيئة الخيرية الإسلامية الأوروبية الدكتور غريب العربي التي تتخذ من مدينة زيوريخ في سويسرا مقراً لها. وبين الدكتور العربي خلال اللقاء أن الهيئة التي تأسست عام 2009م ، تشرف على عدد من المراكز الإسلامية في بعض البلدان الأوروبية ، كما تشرف على عدد من المدارس الإسلامية الخاصة بتعليم أبناء المسلمين. كما استقبل معاليه مدير الجامعة الإسلامية " دار العلوم ديوبند في الهند " الدكتور أبو القاسم نعماني الذي قدم شرحاً عن أوضاع الجامعة التي تأسست في عام 1283هـ. http://www.albiladdaily.com/news.php?action=show&id=97751 | |||
