Maulana Zainul Abideen Azmi, senior Professor of Hadith in Jamia Mazahir Uloom Saharanpur died today in Mau today on 28/04/2013 Sunday in the afternoon.
Maulana Zainul Abideen Azmi was a famous scholar of Hadith, researcher, critic and writer. He specialized in the field of Hadith studies and was considered a reference.
Maulana Azmi belonged to Pura Maroof in Dist Mau (UP). He completed his education from Deoband and was a disciple of Shaikhul Islam Hadgrat Maulana Hussain Ahamd Madani.
His Janazah Salah shall be offered in Pura Maroof afte Isha.
May Allah shower His special mercy upon him and give sabr to his family and near ones!

The wife of former Mohtamim of Darul Uloom Deoband, Maulana Marghoobur Rahman passed away in Bijnor on 10 July 2012 = 19 Shaban 1433 Tuesday. She was ailing since long and was 95.
She was the mother of Maulana Anwarur Rahman who is now a member of Majlis Shura (Governing Body) of Darul Uloom Deoband.
Her Janazah Salah was offered in Bijnor. May Allah have mercy on her and grant her Jannat al-Firdaous, Amen!

The wife of Shaikhul Islam Hadhrat Maulana Hussain Ahmad Madani (1879-1957) passed away in Deoband on 05 July 2012 = 14 Shaban 1433 Thursday. She was nearly 100 year old as his year of birth is 1333 Hijri.
She was called 'Aapa Jan' in the inner circle. She is the mother of Maulana Arshad Madani and Maulana Asjad Madani.
She was widowed at the death of Hadhrat Shaikhul Islam Maulana Madani in 1857. She was from the well-known Saadat family of Tanda, Dist Faizabad (now Ambedkar Nagar) UP.
Her Janazah Salah was offered in Darul Uloom and it was led by his noble son Maulana Arshad Madani. She was laid to rest in Qasmi graveyard. May Allah shower His abundant mercy on her and grant her soul eternal peace in Jannat al-Firdaous!

It will a sad news for the Deoband Alumni that the famous scholar and writer Maulana Abu Bakr Ghazipuri died today on 08/02/2012 morning in Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind Office in New Delhi: inna lillah wa inna ilaihi raji'oon!
He was in Delhi to attend a meeting of Jami'at Ulama-i-Hind. He was a member of Working Committee (Majlis Aamilah) of Jami'at.
Maulana Abu Bakr Ghazipuri was about 60-70 years old. He was one of the celebrated alumni of Darul Uloom Deoband. He was closely attached with Maulana Waheeduz Zaman Kairanvi.
He was a prolific writer and author of several precious books in Arabic and Urdu. He had good command over Urdu and Arabic languages. Maulana published a reputed bimonthly magazine "ZAMZAM". He specially worked on aqeedah and maslak of Deoband. He successfully refuted the Ghair Muqallideen, the socalled Ahl Hadith.
There are news that his funeral will take place in his hometown in Ghazipur (UP).
May Allah grant him maghfirah, give him a place in Jannat-ul-Firdaus! Amen!

Tonight on 07/02/2012 (14/Rabi-ul-Awwal 1433), Hadhrat Maulana Khursheed Alam sb, Shaikhul Hadith Darul Uloom Waqf Deoband died in Deoband. انا للہ وانا الیہ راجعون
He was in his late seventies. He breathed his last in Deoband at his home in the night of 07/02/2012, Tue.
He was the noble son of Hadhrat Maulana Zahoor Ahmad sb (d. 1383=1964), a senior teacher in Darul Uloom Deoband. He is closely related to Hadhrat Mufti Taqi Usmani as well. His two sons Maulana Muhammad Arif sb and Qari Muhammad Wasif sb are also teaching in Darul Uloom Waqf.
Maulana Khursheed Alam sb was also appointed as teacher in Darul Uloom in 1964 and he continues to teach till his last days. He was the one of the oldest teachers of Darul Uloom Deoband and teacher of most of the alumni of Darul Uloom, specially those who studied before the upheaval of 1981 and the aftermath partition of Darul Uloom. He joined Darul Uloom Waqf in 1982. He was teaching Bukhari and Muslim as well as headed the Darul Ifta Department in Darul Uloom Waqf.
His Janazah Salah shall be offered in Darul Uloom after Zuhr on 07/02/2012 and he will be buried in Qasmi Graveyard.
May Allah Ta'ala grant his maghfirah and elevate his status in the high abodes of Jannat-ul-Firdous! May Allah give sabr to his family members, relatives and his students. Amen!

Today, after Fajr SalahI, the wife of Hadhrat Mufti Muhammad Saeed Palanpuri (Shaikhul Hadeeth Darul Uloom Deoband), passed away after a short illness. Her Janaza salah (funeral) was prayed in Darul Uloom after Zuhar Salah and she was laid to rest in Mazar Qasmi.
In sheer coincidence, just after some hours later, the wife of Hadhrat Maulana Riyasat Ali Bijnori (another senior Professor of Hadeeth in Darul Uloom Deoband) also passed away. She was bedridden for a long time. Her Her Janaza salah (funeral) was performed in Darul Uloom after Maghrib Salah and she was also burried in Mazar Qasmi.
The wife of Hadhrat Maulana Riyasat Ali Bijnori was daughter of Hadhrat Maulana Sultanul Haq, Nazim of Kutub Khana (library) in Darul Uloom Deoband.
May Allah grant forgiveness to them and give sabr to the concerning familes and members! May Allah elevate their ranks in the high abode of Jannah, Amen!
